I saw the recent movie by M. Night Shyamalan that was allegedly about Avatar: The Last Airbender, but what I saw was a great big pile of crap. No offense if you liked the movie, but seriously, it was utterly terrible. So I decided to mock the movie mercilessly.

Spoilers if you haven't seen the movie, but seriously, don't watch it. Watch the amazing and award-winning anime instead. You won't regret it.

I agree! Someone said it was boring, but for me it was ANGERING! When I watched it I was screaming at them about stuff they got wrong the whole time! Good thing I was at home XD

It was animated in japan, as far as I know, so therefore, yes. Yes it is an anime.

It was animated in South Korea actually, but the studios that worked on it also work with Japanese companies. "Anime" really just refers to the style of animation that originated in Japan, not necessarily that it is FROM Japan. The show was designed by American animators and looks that way because of the East Asia influence on story.

But, its really all semantics! Its all animation in the end. Avatar just happens to look way more anime than western.

Although, is Avatar actually an anime? Isn't it western animation, with just a tiny bit of anime thrown in to its illustration? Just confirming. I get confused. :))))
